        Assistance For Special Applicants

    Veterans
    The Serviceman's Readjustment Benefit Act of 1966 and the Vietnam Era Veteran's Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 provide eligible veterans counseling, testing, training, and placement.

    UI Claimants
    We offer placement and counseling to claimants finding employment difficult.

    Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers
    Receive counseling, testing, training, and job referral services. Note: We shift seasonal workforces from supply areas to demand areas using available local workers. We monitor services to be sure you receive fair access to work and that your complaints are heard.

    People With Disabilities
    We coordinate the Americans with Disabilities Act and provide information and services through the Southeast ADA Center.
