SC Works Online Services (SCWOS) continues to be unavailable due to nationwide vendor outages, which the vendor is working to fix as quickly as possible.
This vendor outage does not affect DEW’s unemployment insurance system. Claimants who meet all other eligibility requirements WILL be paid for unemployed weeks even if they are not able to conduct their work search through SCWOS.
The agency’s call center is closed on Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day, but payments for eligible claimants will still be processed. Due to the holiday weekend, it could take an extra day to appear in your bank account. This will vary depending on your bank.
Claimants must continue to actively search for work using websites such as Indeed.com, Monster.com, and the National Labor Exchange at www.usnlx.com. DEW may audit job search activities by asking for documentation of searches while SCWOS was unavailable. Make sure to keep a record of job searches, including the name, address, and contact information for the employer and the date of contact.
The call center will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th, and we will be happy to help you at that time.
Please check back for updates on when you must resume looking for work online using SCWOS.
We make nightly changes to the claimant system (the MyBenefits Portal) from 11 pm – 3 am and the system will be temporarily unavailable.
SUITS will be temporarily unavailable during monthly maintenance Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 12 PM to 4 PM.

This is a reminder that claimants receiving UI benefits are required to complete two weekly work searches in SC Works Online Services (SCWOS) in order to remain eligible for benefits. Need assistance? Resources are available here!
