Search for Work

Starting April 18, 2021, you must actively search for work each week that you file a weekly certification for unemployment insurance benefits.

To remain eligible, you must conduct at least two (2) job searches each week through SC Works Online Services (SCWOS). Per South Carolina law, only job searches through SCWOS are counted for this requirement.
To set up your account, just visit SC Works Online Services (SCWOS) and click on the “Not Registered” link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Watch this video tutorial on how to register for a free SCWOS account.  To reset your password for your original username, click on the “Forgot username/password?” link on the SC Works Online Services page.
