"As a kid, I would always carry a sketch pad and coloring books with me to draw or color during recess, lunch, or on the bus ride home. I used to decorate my bedroom for each holiday and even rearranged my furniture to make the most of seasonal light. My high school art teacher suggested I study design, including computer-aided design (CAD) software, and I’m so happy I did!
Now, I spend my days reimagining healthcare facilities, joining form and function to create safe and inviting lobbies, waiting areas, corridors, and patient rooms. Visits to doctors’ offices and hospitals can be difficult for patients and their families, so I work hard to bring beauty and comfort into these spaces."
