"As someone who loves ice cream, working in an ice cream shop can be a fun challenge. I can always make a tasty recommendation, but I've also learned how to work with customers, work the computer system to close out the store's finances each day, and how to be a good team member. I've also learned about the regulations
and policies for keeping the store clean and the food sanitary.
I took this job in the summer of my sophomore year of high school. It was a great first job. So great, that I came back every summer through college! Now, I manage the store on weekends to pick up extra money in addition to my weekday job. I'm on track to meet some of my savings goals, and the shifts go by quickly because
everyone is in a good mood in an ice cream store!"
